Barista
training is not only one of the hardest things to stay current with
your employees, it is also one of the most time consuming. It's
like pushing a rather large ball up a rather large hill. If you
stop for a moment or if you lose your footing the ball will roll
back down the hill and you will have to start all over again from
the bottom.
With that in mind, Island Coffee
would like to come to your assistance and help you push that rather
large ball up the rather large hill.
We have expanded our instruction
facility, The Cup 'n' Palm, to accommodate a larger class size
and have incorporated more of the latest equipment for effective
and accurate training. Here, at our facility, we can work on all
aspects of training a professional barista so as to be knowledgeable
representative of our trade.
For our coffee customers, the 3
1/2 hour training class is free of charge and is offered the last
Friday of each month. Additional classes and times may be added
depending on demand. A barista certification is offered for those
attending the class and passing both the written and hands-on
exams.
Our experience and learning in
the business of coffee is ongoing and probably always will be.

by our staff, we feel confident your coffee training will be effective
