We recently visited Hacienda
La Minita in Costa Rica to learn about the coffee production process
from Bill McAlpin's flagship estate. If Frank Sinatra could sing
Bill's credo it would be "I did it my way." Hacienda
La Minita does what they believe to be right in every aspect of
coffee growing, picking, transport and milling - no exceptions! |

That may be hard to believe but we can
testify - it's true! To the degree of excellence Hacienda La Minita
attempts to achieve versus the degree of excellence they in reality
accomplish is a blurred line. Hacienda La Minita is an excellent
example of what is good about coffee people, coffee ethics, and
an excellent cup.
