Island Coffee®
was founded in 1984 in order to provide the highest quality coffee
available to our customers. Located in Charleston, South Carolina,
our selections are well rounded and complete with the quality of gourmet
coffee you deserve. Island Coffee® believes in purchasing only
superior coffees in order to enhance our selection. So what we sell
are coffees that are unique and compliment our commitment to quality.
All coffees are microroasted to order and delivered fresh to your
favorite coffee shop or home, being shipped within 24 hours of roasting.
Island Coffee® decaf coffees are exclusively Swiss Water processed,
the only non-chemical water decaffeination process in the world.
Unlike other
coffee shops, Island Coffee® does not overcharge you for shipping
in order to offset an artificially lower coffee price. Our shipping
prices are fair and do not include any handling fees.
Island Coffee®
is acutely aware of our social & economic responsibility to
the people who perform the labor intensive task of picking the coffee
beans and the environment in which they harvest. Island Coffee®
has a very good working relatonship with the coffee growers in several
regions and continually strive to build a business relationship
with others in the future. It is the hope of Island Coffee®
that these efforts will improve and enhance the living conditions
of the growers, the pickers, and the environmental impact of coffee
cultivation.
